CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:

• 18-hole stroke play qualifying followed by match play.

• There will be one match play bracket per age division and the size will be determined by the total number of entries in each division.

• Those who do not qualify for match play will be issued a partial refund of their entry and may be offered an additional stroke play round at the host club or nearby facility for a discounted rate.

• Players will compete in the following divisions and at the approximate total yardage listed (yardages are subject to change based on weather, course layout/conditions, etc.):

  • Mid-Senior – 6,100-6,300 yards

  • 65 & Over – 6,000-6,200 yards

  • 70 & Over – 5,800-6,000 yards

  • 75 & Over – 5,400-5,700 yards

 

PRIZES

• Trophies and gift certificates will be awarded to the overall champion in each division.
• In addition, gross prizes (based on number of entries) will be awarded in each division.

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

• Available: October 5th between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Additional availability September 29th, 30th, and October 1st after 12 p.m.
• Fee: $35
• Call the Pro Shop at (540) 943-1131 to book a practice round starting time. Be sure to identify yourself as playing a practice round for this event. Do not just show up.
